Ethos
I am a sound engineer and producer focused on capturing real performances with clarity, depth, and character. My work spans studio and live environments, from recording local artists and bands to producing audio for television, radio, and fine art projects. I’ve handled everything from live recordings at the Metro Theatre to sound design for exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
At the center of my approach is respect for the source. I use a carefully chosen analog front-end — boutique preamps, matched microphones, and transformer-based signal paths — to record sound as honestly and fully as possible. Every session, whether tracking a live band, restoring archival material, or building a sound piece for a gallery, is shaped by that same philosophy: to let the sound lead.
I aim to capture sound with presence and purpose — recording performances that feel alive and stay honest through every stage of the process.
