The rest of the first week

Even though it doesn’t feel like it, it has been quite a busy week. We’ve caught up with Adam and Jo a couple of times, eaten some good meals and taken some walks. I’m enjoying taking photos of all the fruit on the trees and in the markets. Simple things like making a sandwich are so much more enjoyable when all the ingredients are fresh and you have the time to sit down and enjoy it instead of rushing off to the next class/task etc. We travelled up to Istanbul for a couple of days to see Marilyn Manson - it’s really fun to go out to shows when you are away in another country!
