Dalyan April 2026

After a long 50 hour journey we made it back to Dalyan. We were happy to find that Wednesday the cat was alive and well and gave us a friendly greeting. We stocked up with fresh food from Ortaca market and started to look for some outfits to wear to our friends engagement party, and also some warm comfy clothes because it was cooler than we expected. We were happy to see our new pergola for the first time and hung one of the four sets of fairy lights we brought with us! I travelled with a group of friends up to a mushroom festival while Amanda got started with her project of painting at wall green at the greenhouse. We enjoyed a number of social events - 2 birthdays, an engagement party, a housewarming, our 13th anniversary and other additional bbq’s and get togethers at our villa. We had all the regular “must have” breakfasts, hamam, hot springs, and Amanda enjoyed a number of nights out with friends and other adventures. Looking forward to our next trip later this year!
